Description

Originally from Reunion Island, Julie Ah-Fa is a producer for TV commercials and an artist. Julie studied botanical art painting under Ann Harris and has always enjoyed exploring different mediums, including pencil, charcoal and oil. In recent years, botanical art and watercolour have played a defining role in her work. Watercolour allows her to accurately translate the delicacy of plants and the transparency of the lively colours. She exhibits regularly with BAASA and was awarded a Bronze Medal for her first participation at the 2013 Kirstenbosch Biennale.
