Many hours spent gardening with her father as a child and time spent in the bush and at wildlife destinations led Margie to art in the form of wildlife and more recently botanical art. Largely self taught and no longer nursing, assisting her husband in his orthopaedic medical practice and raising a family has allowed more time to paint and attend local workshops and attempt to capture the beauty of nature around her.
